Here are some round-ups of restaurant news:
Mexican Restaurant chain, Wahaca is opening in Edinburgh at the beginning of October. Great for gluten free eating (I guess its all those corn tortillas), Wahaca is a lively and fun place to eat. The gluten free menu is pretty extensive and includes details of contamination free and “for those with milder gluten intolerance” options. Tacos, steak, enchiladas and salads are in there, alongside fish and chicken. The menu is impressive in its detail and it all looks fabulous.
The restaurant at The Huxley at the West End of Princes Street has launched its Nae Gluten menu. This includes an extensive breakfast menu, so is worth a look! Again, lots of clarity and choice.
Another restaurant on its way in St Andrew Square is The Refinery. Opening later in the year, this will be a good place for breakfast, cocktails (not at the same time!) and day into night dining.
