Halloween treats

Gluten Free Halloween Ghosts

Ingredients:
20g butter
250g marshmallows
90g rice krispies
Chocolate chips for eyes
Nature’s Path ‘O’s for mouths

Method:
Melt the butter and marshmallows in the microwave or gently in a saucepan.  Beat until smooth, then add the rice krispies and mix well.  Put a bowl of warm water beside the krispie mix and use it to keep your hands warm and wet (otherwise doing this is a nightmare!).

Shape the mix into ghost shapes on greaseproof paper, add chocolate chips for eyes and the ‘O’s for mouths and then chill well.

 

Gluten and Dairy Free Top Hat Ghosts

Ingredients:
Plain chocolate
Marshmallows
Petit fours cases

Method:
Melt the chocolate in the microwave or in a bowl over hot water.  Pour into the petits fours cases and then add a marshmallow (smaller side down) to each.  Using a cocktail stick paint on the faces using the melted chocolate left round the edges of the bowl.  Chill well.
